Processional: Gather Us In
We invite the Holy Spirit into our hearts as we prepare our minds for the readings of the day. ~ Margaret-Mary Owens, organ, and Sofia Scattarreggia, soprano Psalm 78: R. The Lord gave them bread from heaven What we have heard and know, and what our fathers have declared to us, we will declare to the generation to come, the glorious deeds of the Lord and his strength and the wonders that he wrought. He commanded the skies above and opened the doors of heaven; he rained manna upon them for food and gave them heavenly bread. Man ate the bread of angels, food he sent them in abundance. And he brought them to his holy land, to the mountains his right hand had won. Offertory: O Living Bread from Heaven Jesus says “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.” Let us be reminded that God continues to send us bread from Heaven in the Eucharist, which celebration we are about to enter. Communion: Gift of Finest Wheat Grant, O Lord, that what we have taken with our mouth we may receive with a pure mind; and that from a temporal gift it may become for us an eternal remedy. Recessional: Alleluia! Sing to Jesus Let us lift our voices in praise to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
